Research Interests
My main research examines the impact of global finance on Western liberal democracies. I’m passionate about the ethics of financialization, and especially about ways to regulate its rent-seeking practices, looking at the same time at policies and actions to combat extreme poverty. Other research interests include IR theory, global governance, inequality gaps, global financial system regulation, illicit financial flows, regulation of rent-seeking capitalism, and management of economic crises.
