David Berghel

Background

David Berghel is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Political Science. His research focuses on kinetic and digital regime counters to collective action and the politics of liberal democratization in light of advances in machine learning, mass data collection, digital avatars, and dual-use cyber and information warfare technologies.

Areas of interest include the Saharan Maghreb, Southwest Asia, and East Asia.
