Ph.D. student (political theory) from Poughkeepsie, NY. I recently obtained my B.A. in Political Science – French (interdepartmental), with a minor in Environmental Studies & Science, from Skidmore College. My research interests include postcolonial, postmodern, and feminist political thought, with broader interests in Continental philosophy, democratic theory, critical race theory, and environmental political theory. My recent research has focused on the political power of collective memory making within anti-colonial media. Outside of my academic interests and work, I enjoy reading, movies, birding, gardening/working with animals, fashion, and play soccer and volleyball.
