Research Interest: 

 My research interests center on gender and women’s experiences across different cultural contexts. I am particularly interested in gender-based violence in global south, the mental health of diasporic women in the United States, and women’s agency and autonomy. I am also interested in cross-cultural gender analysis and representations of gender and patriarchy in film and media.
