Passionate about the formation of national identity and human rights-related social movements, I am interested in how states wield power and violence to shape official collective memories. My focus lies in comparing diverse approaches to constructing national identity and analyzing the interplay between state and civil society through social movements. Additionally, I am interested in investigating how nations engage in cooperation and conflict as they strive to establish distinct identities that align with their national interests.
