Sarah Cusano (CLAS ‘22) graduated with a degree in political science and minors in French and communication. After graduating, she worked as an ESG Advisory Associate at Malk Partners, a boutique consulting firm focused on ESG management for clients in private markets. She is now transitioning to a new role as an Associate ESG Advisor at Alliance Advisors, a consulting firm serving public and private companies in issue areas such as shareholder engagement and proxy logistics.
Michael “Mike” Hernández (CLAS ’22) is an M.P.P./M.Div. candidate and Dean’s Fellow at the University of Chicago, where he is studying urban policy and the role of religion in American public life. Off-campus, he has been working as a Public Policy Fellow at NextGen Chamber of Commerce. This summer, he completed the TRIALS Fellowship in partnership with Harvard Law School and NYU School of Law in preparation for law school.
Sage Phillips (CLAS ’22, MA ’24) was an undergraduate POLS major and is now a graduate student in HRTS. She interviewed Chief Malerba, a UConn alumna and current US Treasurer. The article appeared in UConn Magazine.
Ashton Beason-Jones (CLAS ’11) and Jonathan Bellamy (CLAS ’12) presented the closing keynote, “Empowering Young Professionals: Strategies and Reflections on Advocating for College Students” at the UConn Center for Career Development’s Career Everywhere Conference in Storrs in November.
